Not a wrapper around someone else's chatbot

Most "AI" apps are a thin shell around a server somewhere. Everything you type goes there. This one doesn't work that way — put your phone in Airplane Mode and it still answers.

✈️

Genuinely offline

Once you're set up there's nothing left to connect to. Planes, trains, tunnels, remote places — or just a phone you'd rather didn't phone home.

🔒

Yours alone

Your conversations live on your phone as files you control. It works without an account, and your history stays entirely on the device.

Properly fast

Answers stream in as you'd expect from a good chat app, with all the work happening on your phone rather than over a connection.

🎛️

Your choice of AI

Pick from a curated set of well-known open models — or browse a much larger library and install a different one whenever you like.

📄

Ask your documents & photos

Point it at a PDF or a photo and ask about it. Private by default, because there's nowhere for the file to be sent.

🔁

Built into Shortcuts

Summarize, rewrite and pull details out of text from any Shortcut or automation, without any of it leaving your phone.

An assistant, not a toy

Private AI on a phone got good enough to be genuinely useful. The app is built around the things you'd actually want it for, rather than an empty chat box.

  • Ask a document — PDFs, notes, or pasted text
  • Ask a photo — describe it, read it, pull details out
  • Voice note → tasks — talk, get an actual to-do list
  • Memory — things it remembers about you, kept on your phone
  • Your own instructions — shape how it writes and answers

Which AI models can it run?

A curated set of well-known open models, ready to install in a couple of taps — plus a browser for thousands more from Hugging Face. You pick which one runs on your phone, and you can change your mind any time.

Bigger models write better answers and ask more of the phone; lighter ones are faster and kinder to the battery. The app marks which options suit your particular iPhone before you download anything — see will it run on my iPhone.

Three taps and you're private

Install it, set it up once, and it just works from then on.

  1. Install the app

iPhone or iPad on iOS 17 or later. Anything from the last few years works well.

  2. Set it up once, on Wi-Fi

Follow the recommendation for your device — every option is marked for your specific iPhone, so you never end up with something that runs badly. Takes a couple of minutes, and you only do it once.

  3. Turn on Airplane Mode and ask it something

That's the whole test — and the whole point. It keeps working.

Questions people actually ask

Is it really offline, or just "privacy-friendly"?

Really offline. Your conversations never touch a network — there's no service behind the app to send them to. The only thing that needs a connection is the initial setup and browsing for new options later.

Which AI models can it run?

Well-known open models including Gemma from Google, Llama from Meta, Qwen from Alibaba, Phi-4 Mini from Microsoft, DeepSeek R1, Ministral from Mistral AI, SmolLM from Hugging Face, MiniCPM5 from OpenBMB and Bonsai from Prism ML — plus thousands more available from Hugging Face through the in-app browser. You choose which one runs on your phone and can switch at any time.

Do I need a recent iPhone?

Anything running iOS 17 or later works. Newer phones handle the more capable options, but the app adjusts what it recommends to whatever device you have.

Is it as good as ChatGPT?

Honestly, no — and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. An AI that fits on a phone is very good at summarizing, rewriting, extracting and everyday questions. It's weaker at hard reasoning, and it doesn't know about current events. If you want frontier quality and you're happy sending your data to a server, use a cloud app. This is for the times you can't, or would rather not.

Will it drain my battery?

It's real work for your phone, so a long session uses meaningful battery and warms the device a little. Lighter options cost much less of both, and the app makes it easy to switch.

What does it cost?

Full access free for three days. After that, one payment unlocks everything permanently — no subscription, no credits, no charge per message. Current pricing is shown on the App Store.

Who made this?

One independent developer, not a company with a data business. That's also why there's no account system: it would be more work and worse for you.

Your AI. Your device. Your data.

Free for three days. Then buy it once and keep it.
